It's Time To Use Your "I Am" Power!

ALL THROUGHOUT 2018, you may have been programming yourself to fail, to be unhappy and regretful. Well, 2019 may be the best time for you to reprogram yourself to be marvelous and whole for the rest of your life.

If you habitually say to yourself "I am so dumb I can't be as successful as my brothers and sisters," or "I am not meant to be happy and wealthy," you are programming yourself to become really dumb and unsuccessful sooner or later.

Yes, that's what you are doing. You're dooming yourself. You may have never heard of the power of the "I am" so it's time to hear it.

Actually, many people have been wielding that power in their lives. It is the power of affirmative self-description and self-prophecy. They've long known that whatever we habitually and most frequently add to the phrase "I am" in our most private moments eventually become a reality in our lives.

Even if we keep announcing to others with so much words and feelings that we are brilliant, we are wealthy, we are compassionate, none of that can come true if it is the opposite that we always tell ourselves in private.

That's how the power of the "I am" works and rules.

I first heard about it long ago from a spiritual group that believes in using what they call "affirmations" as part of a technique to improve their lives. They meet mainly to recite dozens of affirmations and to listen to a lecture of the organization's founder.

Their affirmations are something like:

"I love and approve of myself. I know that God loves me."

"I am forgiving. I let go of past misjudgments in choices and preferences. I forgive others and I forgive myself. 

"I acknowledge that my power is always in the now, in the present."

"I am a channel of Universal Intelligence."

Eventually, to popularize affirmations, the group's leader began to call them "mantras,"  since it is the more widely used term to refer to a set of words that is expected to work wonders in one's life.

Our self-talk really has infinitely more power over us than what we tell the world about us. The most frequent contents of our self-talk become our firm beliefs -- and our most private beliefs are what animate us, not what we profess in public. Our public talk can affect us only so much and only for some time. Not all the time.

If you occasionally tell or write to someone, or even announce on Facebook and Instagram that you are dumb and desperate, it wouldn't affect you tremendously. Those who get to read about it may even find you cute and amiable and worthy of pity. But if it's a variation of being dumb and desperate that you always tell yourself in private, you'll soon be dumb and desperate.

Yes, there are variations of negative, retarding statements about yourself. As many as the variations of positive, self-building, self-strengthening affirmations.

You may want to start using the power of the "I am" soon for your personal growth.

You can always tell yourself:  "I love and approve of myself. Thus, I always succeed in all that I want to do."

Here are two more samples of "I am" affirmations:

"I am a born winner. I am capable of hurdling complications in my life brought about my goals that get higher and higher."

"I am very smart. I am attuned to Infinite Intelligence."

You can actually make you own "I am" affirmations that suit your needs. But don't mention the needs bluntly. For instance, don't affirm: "I am now able to settle my debt of P50,000." Say instead: "I am now open to all channels for my financial growth and I keep myself financially disciplined."

You are supposed to recite your affirmations every time you are worried or stressed and feeling helpless. If you include anxiety and negative words in your mantra, the stress and the negative will keep filling your consciousness. Again, the most frequent words you tell your self will attract their concrete manifestations in your life and in your body as a disease.

You may begin using your "I am" power now.
